Cole Palmer asked, “How about four?” when he was told to hold up three fingers to represent a hattrick at a Blues photo shoot.
The England star scored an incredible four goals in the first half of his team's Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday.
He made history in the Premier League in the process, becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a clash.
But despite breaking records, Palmer himself may not have been all that surprised by his feat, given that he seemed to predict it earlier this season.
In a video that is now going viral on social media, Palmer was asked to hold up three fingers at a photo shoot, representing a hattrick.
“How about four?” he asked the crew.
He then counted one, two, three with his right hand, before raising his left with four fingers up.
Blues fans were immediately reminded of her Mystic Meg moment when she scored her fourth goal of the afternoon.
“And he just got 4, yeah he's too sick,” said one on X, responding to the video.
Another said: “He is simply the best player in the league right now Cole Palmer, what a player.”
Saturday marked Palmer's third hat-trick for Chelsea, the other two coming against Manchester United and Everton last season.
His tally has equaled that of Chelsea legends Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard in the Premier League.

Palmer has scored a whopping 31 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions.
28 of them have arrived in the Premier League.
Brighton had taken the lead through Georginio Rutter, but Palmer disallowed his opening goal in the 21st minute.
Palmer then put his team ahead with a penalty shortly after, and three minutes later secured the hattrick.
Brighton's Carlos Baleba pulled one back to make it 3-2, but Palmer scored again just before the half-time whistle to complete his quartet.
The Blues are second in the table at the time of writing.
