As Real Madrid close in on the signing of Kylian Mbappe, the repercussions could reverberate across the rest of Europe at Champions League level. Los Blancos might not spend too much more after Mbappe, even if they pursue Alphonso Davies, but Paris Saint-Germain are ready to swing big in the transfer market.

Not only the Parisians intend to replace Mbappe, but ESPN report that they intend to strengthen across the board, and will have 300 million euros to do it. Already, they have identified five names that are clear of the rest in terms of potential targets: Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leao, Bruno Guimaraes, Bernard Silva and Leny Yoro.

While Barcelona were highly unlikely to make a move this summer due to their financial constraints, it means Bruno Guimaraes could be out of the cards for years to come if he moves, and Bernardo Silva could escape them for always Sure, he's always been painted as a Xavi Hernandez target more than anything else, but at 30 this year, Silva can only make one bigger move in his career.

For Real Madrid, their main target is obviously Mbappe himself. Yet they stayed closely linked with Lille defender Leny Yoro, who has been tipped as the next big thing among central defenders. Only 18 years old, and with his contract in 2025, a move this summer invites Yoro. If PSG is locked in a race for Yoro with Real Madrid, it could be stronger, after losing Mbappe, as Los Blancos did with Aurelien Tchouameni in 2022.
