I have played with Jack Grealish and Robert Lewandowski but the Polish midfielder is the best.

Aston Villa star Matty Cash has played with superstars from club and country, but one surprise name has impressed him the most.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Cash opened up after an incredible season which saw the Villans qualify for the Champions League.

The 26-year-old also helped Poland qualify for Euro 2024but he did not make his team despite his good performances.

And Cash, who has shared a dressing room with Jack Grealish in Villa Park and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski with Poland, he insisted Naples Star Piotr Zielinski is even better.

“You've got Piotr Zielinski. Honestly, an unbelievable player,” he told Cash.

“I think he's probably the best. You look at Grealish and you look at Lewandowski, whose ability speaks for itself.

“I think Zielinski is probably the best footballer I've ever played with. He's incredible.

“As I said, we have Grealish when he was at Villa, he was incredible. Obviously, he still is now. And Lewandowski speaks for himself.

“But Zielinski is the one for me. When I look at him I think, 'Wow.'

“Since I went there, since I saw him on the first day, I thought: wow! I don't watch a lot of Italian football, obviously he's in Napoli. But Zielinski is the best I've ever played with.”

Grealish was a phenomenon at Villa where he emerged as a club legend to city ​​of manchester in 2021, having made 213 appearances for his boyhood club.
