I love Bukayo Saka and it hurts me, but Arsenal should swap him for Kylian Mbappé if they get the chance.

arsenal fan Darren Bent has reluctantly admitted he would move Bukayo Saka if it meant signing Kylian Mbappe for Arsenal.

The former Premier League striker is an avid Gunners supporter and was discussing a possible move for the French striker.

It comes after news emerged that Mbappé has communicated his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer at the end of his contract.

Mbappe's current deal is worth an estimated £200m per year, meaning any club will have to break the bank to tempt the French superstar to their club.

He was asked if he would change Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard If that meant signing Mbappé, Bent said: “No, I won't trade them both.

“I would give one of them and another player.”

Goldstein then suggested Saka and Gabriel Jesusto which Bent said: “Yes, I would do that.

“You would have a center forward who was going to score goals and who can also play on that right side.

“I am not going to give up on Saka and Odegaard. I would give up Gabriel Jesús and Odegaard, or Gabriel Jesús and Saka.

“That hurts me because Saka, an academy graduate, but you're talking about possibly the best player on the planet and he's not old, he's young.”

Bent added: “I love Mbappé. I would play him in the middle, but he is versatile, which is what I like: he can play on any wing.”

Since he joined Paris Saint Germain Coming from Monaco in a deal worth £165.7 million, Mbappe has become one of the world's top stars.

With 290 appearances for the club, the 25-year-old scored 243 goals and provided 105 assists to his teammates.

So far this season, he has scored 31 goals in 30 games for the French giants.
