Former Chelsea manager Michael Emenalo has admitted he missed the chance to sign a player who became a Premier League icon with 184 goals.

“I talked about it with Frank Lampard Because Frank Lampard played for Manchester City. “He said that when I played against him, he told the Chelsea staff to sign Agüero.”
Former Chelsea player Joe Cole previously spoke about his admiration for Aguero.
“You know, as a player, I was playing against him and I thought 'wow.' He faced JT (John Terry) and Ricardo Carvalho and was simply outstanding.”
He told TNT Sport: “Chelsea actually overlooked him because of his form, which was obviously a big mistake looking back at the time.”
