A Premier League winner has revealed his dream to emulate NBA superstar LeBron James playing with his teenage son.
Everton advocate ashley young He described that potential moment as a “dream come true” when talking about his hopes of taking the field in the same game as his 18-year-old.
It's a dream that came true for LeBron, 39, and his son Bronny, 20 this month in a 118-114 preseason loss against the Phoenix Suns.
Young's son Tyler currently plays for Peterborough United, who are 12th in League One.
The year he was born, Young Snr helped Watford gain promotion to the Premier League after finishing third and progressing to the play-off final to beat Leeds United 3-0.

The top-flight veteran, who has played 718 games and is playing the 22nd season of his career, told the talkSPORT breakfast: “I hope and pray that this will be the case in the coming years.
“Playing alongside him or playing against him would be incredible.
“Obviously playing alongside my son would be a dream come true. You see LeBron in basketball. “I've done my homework, I don't think I have done it since 1980, which was obviously a long time ago.”
Young recalled the moment he knew his son was ready for the professional game, when he was brutally attacked by him during a friendly match.
“Every summer we will play an 11-team game against each other with our friends,” Young said.
“And it's getting more and more competitive, where a lot of their friends will come, mom and dad, my wife, a lot of people will come and watch.
“So we were beating them, of course, we beat them every year, but you know when your son looks up to completely eliminate you and I mean, come up behind me…
“I rose into the air and landed on the ground.
“He stood over me looking at me and I had nothing to say. I thought, 'Wow, he's actually ready, he wants to play.'”
In response to breakfast host and former Villa Aston Teammate Gabby Abonglahor suggested some father-son shoulder barges, and Young responded, “There will be plenty of that, don't worry about it.
“I would pinch him or pat him on the head.”
As his son is a central midfielder, Young also revealed that he would ask him Sean Dyche “let me play in midfield against him.”
