'If I speak, there will be fire' – Mohamed Salah enraged by Jurgen Klopp dispute at West Ham
Mohamed Salah refused to speak for fear of breaking loose after a heated moment with Jurgen Klopp on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool His teammate Darwin Núñez had to intervene and push Salah away. after a fight with Klopp on the touchline as the Reds battled West Ham to a 2-2 draw.
Asked by reporters at the London Stadium for comment, the Egypt international said: “If I speak today, there will be fire.”
This was despite manager Klopp insisting the situation was resolved.
The German said: “No (I can't say what was said), but we already talked about it in the locker room. For me, it's done.”
Salah had been removed from the match's starting eleven and the incident occurred when he was introduced as a substitute in the 77th minute.
After Michail Antonio scored a late equalizer with a header, Klopp sent in the cavalry, including Nunez, to try and take home the three points.
While Salah was on the touchline, Klopp said something to the 31-year-old that seemed to outrage him.
Words were exchanged before Salah began pointing and gesturing at his coach, forcing Nunez to intervene and pull him away.
While Klopp and Salah swap talks will dominate, the 2-2 draw against West Ham all but ended Liverpool's hopes of winning the Premier League title this season.

The result caps a miserable week for Klopp, who saw his team lose to Everton in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday night.
