Serie A champions Inter have had an interest in Sevilla striker Dodi Lukebakio, who joined last summer for €9m from Hertha Berlin. The 26-year-old Belgian made an impact with his pace in the early stages of the season, but a long-term injury kept him out for four months, and he has started just once since.
Lukebakio's pace has caught Inter's eye though, according to GdS (via AS Diary), and they could look to use 22-year-old French midfielder Lucien Agoume as a makeweight in the deal. He has played just 442 minutes since joining on loan in January, although he has also missed a month of action with a thigh muscle problem. Inter will try to move Agoume this summer, but Seville they do not plan to exercise their €8m purchase option this summer. One of his targets for the defensive midfield is the Serbian Mirko Topic from Famalicao, 23 years old.
However, they won't close the door on any exits this summer, meaning Lukebakio's future remains uncertain. The sports director Victor Orta seems that he will try to reduce the wage bill of Sevilla again this summer, while his spending will be limited. With no certainty of the team or the manager for next summer, it could be long in Nervion.
