Aston Villa players head away on international duty again in November, for the final time in 2024.
Less than a month after the last break came to an end, international football returns, with a number of Villans set to feature for their countries between now and November 18.
Below you can find out which of our players are in action for their nations, who they’re playing and when…
England
Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Ezri Konsa have been called up to the latest England squad as Lee Carsley takes charge for the final time before Thomas Tuchel is handed the reins.
For Rogers, it’s a maiden call-up to the England senior team, a reward for his standout performances at club level, not just this season, but since joining Villa from Middlesbrough in January.
The 22-year-old had initially been named in the England Under-21s squad and placed on standby for the senior setup ahead of the upcoming round of fixtures, but was promoted on Monday evening as a result of injury-enforced dropouts.
The Three Lions are back in UEFA Nations League action, visiting Greece in Group B2 this Thursday, November 14 (ko 7.45pm GMT), before Republic of Ireland visit Wembley on Sunday, November 17 (ko 5pm GMT).
Argentina
Emi Martínez will again represent Argentina between the sticks, with Enzo Barrenechea also receiving his first senior call-up after impressing while on loan at Valencia.
La Albiceleste take on Paraguay (Thursday, November 14, 11.30pm GMT) and Peru (Wednesday, November 20, 12.00am GMT) in their latest CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, and enter this round of fixtures three points clear at the top of their group.
Australia
Joe Gauci will again represent the Socceroos after playing 90 minutes in each of their fixtures during the October break.
Tony Popovic’s side face AFC World Cup Qualifiers against Saudi Arabia on Thursday, November 14 (ko 9.10am GMT) and Bahrain on Tuesday, November 19 (ko 6.15pm GMT).
Belgium
Amadou Onana has been called up for the Red Devils, who are also in UEFA Nations League action.
Onana will be hoping to get the better of Italy on Thursday, November 14 (ko 7.45pm GMT), before travelling to take on Israel on Sunday, November 17 (ko 7.45pm GMT).
Colombia
Jhon Durán will represent Colombia after a goal against Chile off the bench last month.
Los Cafeteros take on CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers against Uruguay on Saturday, November 16 (ko 12am GMT) and Ecuador on Tuesday, November 19 (ko 11pm GMT).
France
Lucas Digne has been called up for Les Bleus’ two Nations League Group A2 fixtures.
France will face the same two teams as Amadou Onana’s Belgium, hosting Israel on Thursday, November 14 (ko 7.45pm GMT), before travelling to Italy on Sunday, November 17 (ko 7.45pm GMT).
Jamaica
Leon Bailey will represent Steve McClaren’s Jamaica in a two-legged CONCACAF Nations League semi-final meeting with USA.
The Reggae Boyz play their home tie on Friday, November 15 (ko 1am GMT), before travelling to the states for the second leg on Tuesday, November 19 (ko 1am GMT).
Scotland
Having sat out last month’s camp through injury, John McGinn will be back with the Tartan Army as they look for the first win of their Nationals League Group A1 campaign.
Steve Clarke’s men host Croatia on Friday, November 15 (ko 7.45pm GMT), before travelling to Poland next Monday (November 18, ko 7.45pm GMT).
Serbia
Kosta Nedeljković will be hoping to add to his four international caps with Serbia in Nations League Group A4 action.
Dragan Stojković’s side travel to Switzerland on Friday, November 15 (ko 7.45pm GMT), before hosting Denmark on Monday, November 18 (ko 7.45pm GMT).
Spain
In the same Nations League group, Pau Torres has been called up for European Champions Spain.
La Roja will look to continue their unbeaten start to the group stage against Denmark (Friday, November 15, ko 7.45pm GMT) and Switzerland (Monday, November 18, ko 7.45pm GMT).
England Under-21s
Jaden Philogene and Samuel Iling-Jr have again got the call for England Under-21s duty, having helped the side qualify for next summer’s European Championship in the last break.
They now travel to Spain (Friday, November 15, ko 5.30pm GMT) and Holland (Monday, November 18, 5.45pm) in a pair of friendlies.
Young Lions
A host of our Academy players have also been called up to represent their nations’ younger ranks this month.
Kadan Young and Triston Rowe have been called up for England Under-19s, who travel to Bulgaria to begin their Under-19 UEFA Euro 2025 campaign with games against the host nation, Lithuania and Belgium.
Aidan Borland is set to represent Scotland in the same competition, with games against Wales, Liechenstein and France, with Cole Brannigan in similar action for Northern Ireland Under-19s against Denmark, Israel and Albania.
Ben Broggio, George Hemmings and Leon Routh will represent England Under-18s at Valencia’s Oliva Nova Sports Center. They come up against Poland, with the winner of that tie taking on Germany or Belgium, and the two losing sides also facing off. Keilan Quinn will travel to Croatia with Republic of Ireland Under-18s for a friendly tournament, with fixtures against the hosts, as well as Japan and Portugal.
Bradley Burrowes, Jack McGrath and Owen Asemota, meanwhile, are with England Under-17s, for a double header in Belgium.
