Is Mohamed Salah fit to play for Liverpool?
Salah's condition is being monitored daily.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the striker is suffering from fatigue after playing more than half of the game at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.
“The same thing happens with Mo on a day-to-day basis as well,” he said. Liverpool the manager explained.
“It's a similar area where you feel a little bit (fatigue). We have to see how it develops. “It’s nothing crazy, but we have to see.”
Fatigue would mean Salah needs to rest and considering the Reds have only had four days between accessoriesyou may not have had enough free time.
And Klopp will not want to risk losing his star man by playing him too much too soon.
Salah's problems have been added to a crisis for Liverpooll with Jota now sidelined alongside Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones.
Darwin Núñez is also being examined every day after suffering muscle stiffness.
These injuries are not at all ideal for the Carabao Cup Final And with that big game ahead of them, Salah and Nunez may not be at risk against Luton.
However, the German is willing to include them in his lineup if he considers it suitable, since each match is considered “a final” at this point in the season.
He said: “The situation we have in the first division In the competition we are in, every match is a final.
“There's no game where you can say, 'Let's take a look at how everyone else is playing at the weekend and if we lose, it might be OK.'
“We cannot see it like that, for us it is game by game who is available and then using them in the best possible way there is no other possibility.”
