'It's a clear red card' – Alaves manager Luis Garcia Plaza furious with decision during Real Madrid defeat
Real Madrid cruised to a fifth straight win on Tuesday, as they saw a brave fight from Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu. The visitors scored twice late on to make things interesting, and it could have been even more nervy if Endrick Felipe had been shown a red card just before the goals.
In the 83rd minute, Endrick was shown a yellow card by referee Alejandro Muniz Ruiz after appearing to challenge Alaves' Santiago Mourinho. The visitors are adamant that it should be red, but only a warning was given.

Alaves coach Luis Garcia Plaza spoke about the incident after the match, and admitted to being in disbelief that a red card was not shown.
“Endrick should have been sent off, it was a clear red card. Nobody can say it wasn't a red for Endrick. He should have been sent off. We should have played the last 10 minutes against 10 men.”

Endrick was certainly a bit lucky that the matter was not referred to by VAR. Alaves he will settle down, but Real Madrid it doesn't matter much that they came up with the three points, even if it was more complicated than it should have been.
