'I've let everyone down': Peter Crouch gives hilarious response to fan who 'saw' him during West Ham clash with Luton
Peter Crouch has hilariously revealed that he “let everyone down” after a fan joked that he had been seen at the London Stadium.
The popular striker has been working as a television commentator for TNT Sports since hanging up his boots and has been in action for FulhamThe clash against Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.
However, Crouch was part of a social media prank when a fan shared an image of an inflatable doll on West Ham's victory over Luton with the legend: “Inflatable day”.
In addition to appearing completely naked, the doll attracted attention for being tall and thin, characteristics for which the former England international is known.
Standing at 6 feet 7 inches, Crouch had an imposing presence during his playing days, but his striking stature often draws jokes from fans.
This prompted one fan to share the image of the doll and joke: “@petercrouch put some clothes on and get off the court.”

Known for his sense of humor, the first Liverpool The striker did not disappoint with his own dry response.
In response to the post, Crouch wrote: “I'm sorry. I got carried away. I let everyone down.”
Crouch is one of English football's most popular pundits, largely due to his sense of humor and ability to take jokes.
