bowen He scored two goals in the first seven minutes to start the match, with the third coming just before the hour mark.
It is the first time the 27-year-old has scored a hat-trick in his career and he now has 17 goals this season in all competitions.
Although Bowen is clearly key to West Ham's attacking efforts, one statistic shows that package is just as crucial, if not more so, to the team.
West Ham have won 11 of the 19 Premier League games they have started this season, a winning percentage of 58 per cent.
By comparison, they have failed to win in the seven games in which he has not started, which shows how vital he is to their success.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Moyes said: “We've had him out, I think, since the beginning of December or January, whenever it was, the first FA Cup tie, so we've really missed him.”
“His ability to make things happen and get things done, he also does a lot of things for the team, which is really important.
“I thought he played well tonight too, but as you could see we were probably running out of legs after about 70 minutes, Lucas maybe a little bit earlier, so he did a great job.”
West Ham took a commanding lead with two quick goals from Bowen, although Neal Maupay scored to make it 2-1 after just 13 minutes.
Bowen's third of the night took him to 14 in the Premier League this season, the third-highest tally alongside Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
Emerson scored a stunning goal for West Ham's fourth before Yoane Wissa scored a late consolation to reduce the deficit for Brentford.
Moyes' side moved up to eighth place in the league, while the Bees suffered their 10th league defeat in 12 games and five points above the relegation zone.
