Jill Scott opens up about two-word phrase fans yell at her after hilarious Roy Keane quote

Jill Scott has revealed what fans have been shouting at her after a viral moment with Roy Keane in The Overlap.

Last month, Keane raised eyebrows with an outrageous joke during an episode of the show. Stay with football with fellow guest, former England Lioness Scott.

The episode presented Gary Neville, Pablo Scholes, ScottKeane and Ian Wright.

The former Man United midfielder made an X-rated joke as Scott spoke about a recent charity match he played in, alongside former West Ham and Nottingham Forest star Marlon Harewood.

“I was playing the charity game at the weekend and Marlon Harewood completely destroyed us,” Scott explained at the time.

“Yeah, he was a big old man, old Marlon,” Wright replied before his co-expert Keane crudely joked: “And what was the game like?”

Neville and Scholes in particular had their heads in their hands, apparently in disbelief at their former team-mate's prank.

“Roy, you can't say that!” Wright responded while still laughing. “That has to be (cut from the edit)…”

Scott took it like a champ and told the producers to keep him on the show, as Scholes stated, “That's a step too far.”

“What was the score in the game?” Keane asked as the panel's laughter began to die down, but it didn't stop there.

“It's such a powerful image!” Wright shouted, causing Neville to spit out the water and the laughter to start again.

Wright then claimed he couldn't “stop watching” before Scott joked to the camera: “I think this is our last show, thanks for tuning in.”

Now Scott has said the one thing fans keep telling him after the clip of Keane's prank went viral.

The former England star said in the last episode from Stick to Football: “I left the house the next morning (after Roy Keane's Marlon Harewood joke) and people were shouting at me in the street: “How's Marlon?” and I thought, “Who the hell is Marlon?”

“The clip went viral, but I felt bad because it wasn't even a big hit, it wasn't like that, it wasn't a big entrance.

“His wife even posted about it, and he reposted it himself, so I think he was cool with it. It was trending on X.”

Keane adamantly stated that his comment was innocent and that he just wanted to know more about the football match.

“I honestly wanted to say, 'What was the result of the game? How did you play?' “Honest!” he added.

The former Manchester City player was not willing to accept any of that.

“Yeah, and then I said the score was 6-7 and you were like 6-9!” Scott said.

“It was all for charity, for football, so it's fine.”

The exchange left the panel in stitches as each considered their favorite moments from The Overlap over the past two years.

Marlon Harewood made 136 Premier League appearances for Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Aston Villa and Blackpool, scoring 28 goals in total.
