John Terry tells fans the lengths he will go to at Chelsea's training ground to avoid the color red.

John Terry has taken to Instagram to show fans what he does at Chelsea's training ground because he “hates” seeing red there.

The Blues The legend and former captain made 717 appearances for the club, winning 15 major honors during his 19-year stay.

Terry He took part in several classic matches against rivals who wore red, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

And despite retiring in 2018, the former centre-back still has a distaste for that particular color off the pitch.

He now works as Chelsea's youth coach and is therefore a regular at Cobham's training ground.

Terry posted a video to his Instagram Story on Thursday of one of the building's outlets, with an unplugged switch turned on.

With the red top of the switch visible, he said: “When I'm on the training ground I have to turn them off because I hate seeing red in our building, I do it every day as a player too.”

His video arrived the morning after Chelsea's. 4-1 defeat against Liverpoolwith Terry watching from the other side at Anfield.

The former England international won 17 of his 39 games against the Reds during his career, but was on hand to witness a regrettable defeat.

Chelsea were beaten by the Premier League leaders but referee Paul Tierney waved off two massive penalties.
