Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham will not be banned for his gestures during England's 2-1 win in Slovakia at Euro 2024. UEFA had opened an investigation into the matter , but it seems that an end is more likely.
After celebrating to the crowd, Bellingham ran back to the halfway line, when he blew a kiss and then he gestured to his genitals, apparently in the direction of the bank of Slovakia. After the match, Bellingham explained that he had made the gestures as an inside joke with friends, but it did not prevent UEFA's intervention. According to BILDBellingham will not miss any playing time, but instead will be handed a five-figure fine.
It's unlikely to make too much of a dent in Bellingham's bank balance, as he earns between €10-12 million a year. The 21-year-old is rarely afraid to face enemies or what he perceives as injustices, and is unlikely to change much because of it.
