Arne Slot had fans chanting his name outside his home after Jurgen Klopp's show of support.

The Dutch coach, who previously coached Feyenoord, has take charge of Liverpool following Klopp's decision to leave the club at the end of the season.

While the German received a hero's farewell, Klopp made sure his farewell was as much for the incoming Slot as it was for him.

After his last game in charge, Klopp addressed Liverpool fans and said: “You welcome the new coach like you welcomed me. You do everything you can from day one. You continue to believe and push the team.”
