According to Sky Germany, Juventus have made contact with Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi.
It is understood that the Serie A outfit are keeping tabs on the BvB forward, whom new head coach Thiago Motta is keen to sign this summer. However, contrary to a number of reports coming out of Italy, Juventus are not close to signing the 22-year-old.
It has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport that the Italian side has agreed personal terms with Adeyemi. Nevertheless, as stated in Sky Germany’s report, this is not the case.
Despite contact being made between the player and the club, an agreement is still far from complete. As well as this, Juventus have not entered into negotiations with the Champions League runners-up as of yet.
As previously reported, the Bianconeri are also interested in Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. However, in order to sign either Sancho or Adeyemi, Juventus will be required to sell before they buy this summer.
Therefore, a transfer regarding Adeyemi is still far from complete. Despite this, Dortmund are not ruling out the possibility of selling the 22-year-old this summer, having placed a €40 million price tag on his head.
