Sky Germany reports that Juventus are preparing a financial package for Borussia Dortmund as they continue to show interest in Karim Adeyemi.
The Italians have already met with Adeyemi and his father and Fabrizio Romano reports that the German wants to join Juventus. The total financial package that Juventus will offer Dortmund for Adeyemi will be €45m, a €35m fee and €10m in bonuses.
Last season was a mixed bag for Adeyemi, in the league he performed poorly, which mimicked Dortmund’s league form, but in the Champions League, he proved to be a key player for Die Schwarzgelben as they reached the final.
How this affects Dortmund future transfer plans is yet to be known as they will likely need another option for the wing positions with Donyell Malen, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Julien Duranville the only out-and-out wingers left in the squad. This could prompt Dortmund to reignite their interest in Rayan Cherki.
Although it had been reported that Dortmund are interested in strengthening other areas of their squad, a departure of Adeyemi for the right price could given them the opportunity to sign the Frenchman who is currently at the Olympics.
