Since his €50m move from Napoli to Bayern Munich last summer, Kim Min-jae (27) has played 36 games across all competitions for the Rekordmeister but despite sub-par performances, the South Korean has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena, of which the central-defender was soon to quash the rumours on the club’s tour of Asia.
“I never thought about leaving the club,” said Kim at Friday’s press conference. “I will give everything for Bayern and throw everything into the mix to achieve maximum success.” The 27-year-old said that he wants to “prepare hard and train a lot” and is looking forward to learning from Vincent Kompany.

Speaking about inviting the team to dinner, Kim added: “I’m grateful and thankful to the team. Everyone really enjoyed dinner yesterday. I think Kimmich particularly enjoyed it, he ordered different dishes. We had a really good time.”
