Kylian Mbappe can not participate for France in the Olympics in Paris 2024 with the victory of Real Madrid
Real Madrid are already making plans for the arrival of Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Gemain, and the suggestion is that he would be presented between the end of the club season and the Euros this summer. When he comes back, he seems to be arguing.
Mbappe It has been made clear that he wants to take part in the Olympics in his hometown of Paris this summer, and several reports claim that Mbappe is one of three aged players Thierry Henry wants to call up, alongside Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud.
However L'Equipe says Mbappe is less likely to play at the Olympics with each passing day, as reported by Brand.
“It is my boss who decides. It will be a pleasure to play in them, but if my boss does not want, I will support his decision. I think it will not take much time to think about it. If it is yes, it is yes, if it's not, it's not. I want to play and I think people want too,” Mbappe remarked recently.
Clubs are not required to release players for the Olympics in the same way they are for internationals. Real Madrid could understand that they do not want to lose Mbappe for the Euros and the Olympics this summer, with only 10 days between the final of the former and the start of the latter. He is aware that he cannot spend the first months of his career at Real Madrid recovering from two successive international tournaments.
It would also mean that Mbappe will only start his Real Madrid career in mid-August, likely missing at least one game at the start of the La Liga season. Perhaps more relevant, he would miss Los Blancos' pre-season tour of the United States, where they could no doubt generate a lot more money with a newly introduced Mbappe.
