Kylian Mbappe can not participate for France in the Olympics in Paris 2024 with the victory of Real Madrid

Clubs are not required to release players for the Olympics in the same way they are for internationals. Real Madrid could understand that they do not want to lose Mbappe for the Euros and the Olympics this summer, with only 10 days between the final of the former and the start of the latter. He is aware that he cannot spend the first months of his career at Real Madrid recovering from two successive international tournaments.

It would also mean that Mbappe will only start his Real Madrid career in mid-August, likely missing at least one game at the start of the La Liga season.
