Earlier this week, Barcelona finally managed to secure the signing of Dani Olmo, who had been forced to miss the opening two games of the season, as he had not yet signed with La Liga due to the well-documented financial problems of the Catalan club.

Barcelona “took advantage” of Andreas Christensen's two-month layoff to sign Olmo, with the Dane's salary freed up to allow the Euro 2024 winner to play. However, because of this, Olmo is only registered until the winter, which was confirmed by Javier Gomez, Corporate General Manager of La Liga, on Friday (via Marco).
“Dani Olmo is registered until December 31. If Barcelona fails to generate registration capacity, January 1 would not be registered.”
Gomez also spoke about Barcelona's effort to return to the 1:1 rule of La Liga, which they did not do during the summer transfer window.
“The data shows you that Barcelona is in the process of returning to the rule 1: 1. When the accounts are published and are official, it will be possible to see.
