Lamine Yamal sets a new European Championship attendance record

Yamal plates continues to be a driving force for Spain at Euro 2024.

U Barcelona star has started four of Spain's five games at the tournament and will play the biggest game of his career so far against France in the semi-finals.

The 16-year-old excelled on the right side of Spain's attack and Luis de la Fuente he has full faith in his ability to play a key role.

Spain's 2-1 quarter-final win over Germany featured his third assist of the tournament so far and the second time he has set up a goal for Dani Olmo.

This tally means he is now the first player under the age of 20 to record three assists in a UEFA European Championship with former La Blaugrana star Michael Laudrup's record beaten.

Three players have earned three assists for Spain in previous tournaments, but no La Roja player has managed four in one competition, a feat managed by only four players in history.

Lamine Yamal has at least one more game to chase the Spanish and European record.
