According to Florian Plettenberg, Leeds and Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Freiburg centre-back Bruno Ogbus.
Last season, Ogbus featured nine times for Freiburg II in the 3. Liga but failed to make a first-team appearance for Christian Streich’s side in the Bundesliga.
Despite this, it is understood that AC Milan have made an approach to sign the 18-year-old, offering Freiburg a low single-digit million euro offer.
However, this was rejected immediately by Freiburg, with the club stating that the defender is not for sale this summer.
With the new head coach, Julian Schuster, at the helm, there is an expectation that Ogbus will be used this season.
Nevertheless, this has not deterred Leeds and Nottingham Forest, who are interested in luring the teenager to England.
The two clubs are monitoring Ogbus, but it would take a lucrative offer in order to lure him away from Freiburg this summer.
