Leicester announce Premier League title winner Marc Albrighton is one of three key players on release list

Leicester have announced that Marc Albrighton, Kelechi Iheanacho and Dennis Praet will leave the club as free agents this summer.

Albrighton leaves after spending a decade in foxes in which he made 313 appearances in all competitions.

The 34-year-old played in all of Leicester's Premier League games as they incredibly defied the odds to win the title in 2016.

But his departure means that Jamie Vardy, who has signed a new one year contractHe is the only remaining member of that winning squad.

Albrighton also won the FA Cup and Championship with the club, and the midfielder made 12 appearances last season.

Iheanachowho signed from Manchester City in 2017, also leaves Leicester for next season.

The 27-year-old striker scored 61 goals in 232 games for the club, five of them last season in the Championship.

He also won the FA Cup and second division title with the Foxes, but will be ready for pastures new next season.

Midfielder Praet will also leave the King Power Stadium this summer after five years at the club.

He signed from Sampdoria in 2019 and played 107 games, also winning the FA Cup and the Championship title.
