“However, after the Club questioned the EFL's intention to act outside its rules, the EFL unconditionally accepted that, in fact, it has no power, from any source, to impose a points deduction on the EFL that has been ordered by a Premier League Disciplinary Commission in relation to the PSR.

“LCFC continues to seek to cooperate constructively with both the Premier League and the EFL to reach a legal resolution of any issues relating to the PSR, in line with our ongoing commitment that any charges against the Club must be determined appropriately and proportionately. , in accordance with the applicable regulations, by the appropriate bodies and at the appropriate time.”
