According to Christian Falk (via CaughtOffside), Leroy Sané is considering leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Over the course of the summer, it was well documented that Der Rekordmeister were open to the idea of selling Sané with just twelve months remaining on his deal at the Allianz Arena.
However, while Arsenal did show interest in the 28-year-old, Bayern failed to receive a concrete offer for the winger.
Since then, it has been reported that the record champions would now like to renew Sané’s deal at the club, with the aim of finding an agreement before the beginning of the January transfer window.
Nevertheless, while the former Manchester City forward is also hoping to remain in Bavaria, it is understood that Sané is also considering departing the club.
The 28-year-old is aware that he is not currently considered to be a key part of Vincent Kompany’s plans, with Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, and Michael Olise ahead of him in the squad.
As well as this, with interest from Newcastle United, Sané is reportedly willing to depart Bavaria for a club in the Champions League.
Therefore, should Newcastle qualify for Europe’s most prestigious tournament once again, then there is every possibility that they could prize Sané away from Munich.
