Liverpool did not have the busy summer that anyone might have expected with the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the arrival of Arne Slot. Defender of Seville Loic Bade has been one of the potential options linked to the Reds for a move down the line, with Virgil van Dijk now 33.
The French centre-back had several options to leave Sevilla this summer, with Stuttgart and Roma coming in for the 24-year-old. Just after the end of the transfer window, Bade signed a new five-year deal with Los Nervionenses, including a €60 million release clause.
If Liverpool They were serious about signing Bade, however, this would probably be little problem for them. Matteo Moretto explained that while Bade will be able to decide his future, there is no sign of interest from Liverpool for him, according to his sources.
Bade has been a standout in a struggling Sevilla defense for much of the past two seasons, and he also proved his worth for France during the Olympics. Originally introduced as a teenager, it certainly looks like he's moving in the right direction in terms of reaching his potential.
