Liverpool fans find photo of Arne Slot with hair that would 'give Tom Cruise a run for his money'
Liverpool fans were left stunned after a photo of a fresh-faced Arne Slot resurfaced online.
As always, the internet worked its magic and found a snapshot of the Reds manager during his playing days in Holland.
Most of us have become accustomed to seeing the Dutchman as one of the Premier League's growing bald managers, although they are one behind Manchester United's axe Erik ten Hag.
Of course, this wasn't always the case (he once had a full head of hair), but few would have thought how unrecognizable he would be.
There was also another significant surprise in the newly released image, and that is Slot's resemblance to a Hollywood superstar actor.
Although it is difficult to tell by looking at him without hair, the Liverpool The boss bears a resemblance to Tom Cruise.
Slot's loose locks left one fan claiming he would give the Vanilla Sky actor a run for his money.
And it's hard to argue against that, since once you look at the image, it's hard to stop looking at it.
A midfielder in his day, Slot played his entire career in his homeland in an 18-year career.
His first steps in football came with FC Zwolle before passing through NAC Breda and Sparta Rotterdam.
He returned to Zwolle in 2010 before hanging up his boots three years later.
His career has reached greater heights since he ventured into management with Cambuur, AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord and now Liverpool.

Liverpool face another test of their title credentials this weekend when Aston Villa head to Merseyside.
Slot has assured his fans that his team is not getting carried away despite being at the top of the table.
“We are there to do our job and be better players every day or continue having the same level,” he said before the clash with Unai Emery's men.
“It's not the first time this club is where it is at the moment. I think for most of these players it's a normal situation and I don't think they get carried away at all that we're leading the league at the moment.
“They know how small the margins are when it comes to our results and how many points we have ahead of the other teams.
“I'm not trying to manage expectations with the team because we don't talk about expectations.
“The only expectation I have is that they put in the same effort every day. That's the only thing we focus on.”
