Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk insists he is “fully committed” to the club after recent comments left him uncertain about his future.
After Jürgen Klopp's surprise announcement of his departure the Reds in summer, Van Dijk cast doubts about his stay at Anfield.

“It's not about me, it's not about me, it's about us and nothing has changed. “Five days ago we weren't even talking about my contract so it's a bit silly.
“But my whole focus is making sure this year can be a very special year, obviously it was a big announcement in the last few days, it's been a shock for every one of us connected to the club.
“I feel exactly what the fans felt at that exact moment, but we are serious here, we want to move forward, we want to achieve the things we dreamed of at the beginning of the season.
“We are in a good position, so we are going to give it our all, but as I said at the beginning, don't get it confused, I am totally committed to the club. I love it, I love it each and every day.” “I'm the captain, we're going to go for it and see how it goes.”
