Liverpool are planning to open talks with Mohamed Salah over a new contract in the near future, talkSPORT understands.
Salah dropped a bomb after scoring in Sunday's 3-0 win over Manchester United, stating that it could be his last appearance at Old Trafford in a Liverpool shirt.
But the Anfield hierarchy are relaxed about Salah's situation and talks are expected to take place with their Egyptian superstar's advisers imminently.
Salah is also understood to be settled on Merseyside and keen to stay beyond the end of this season when his current contract expires.
This is despite the looming possibility of a large transfer of money to Saudi Arabia.
