Liverpool star Lewis Koumas is the son of a major Championship champion and was sent off in a bloody brawl before realizing his “lifelong dream”.
Lewis Koumas is the latest Liverpool youngster to make his dreams come true.
The 18-year-old scored last night in his first game for the Reds. scored in a 3-0 win against Southampton in the fa cup.
He played 63 minutes of the game and it was enough time to show how good he can be against Jurgen Klopp.
Koumas has been a star in Liverpool's academy and has now seized his opportunity in the first team, putting his household name in the spotlight.
After scoring at Anfield, his name spread on social media and fans were instantly taken back to the 2000s.
That's because he is the son of Championship great Jason Koumas.
Jason has been described as a “genius” and his natural talent was regularly compared to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
Many consider that the Welsh star was an excellent player, but his lack of discipline I saw him never reach the top.
He retired in 2015 and now, nine years later, his son is shaping up to be a star.
Koumas has followed in his father's footsteps starting in Liverpool's youth ranks and that was where he caught Klopp's attention.
The forward has 27 goals in 43 games in the club's youth category and now has a goal in a game with the first team.
But not everything has been good for Koumas, since for a UEFA Youth League clash against Port Last year he was expelled after a fight.
The teenager helped his team beat the Portuguese team and reach the quarterfinals of the European competition on penalties.
However, after the penalty shootout, things turned ugly when both groups of players collided with blows.

Coach Klopp also praised him after the match: “A wonderful goal.
“A guy playing on the left wing against a veteran player on a team without many skippers, let me put it this way, is complicated.
“Staying in the game during these moments shows that he is a true striker because the goal is exceptional, the step and then he shoots before the goalkeeper can calm down. A really good ending.”
Koumas looks set to be the latest academy star to break into Liverpool's first team and could be on course for a special career.
