Liverpool Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt star Willian Pacho this summer, according to the Independent.
The Reds appear to be looking to strengthen their centre-back position in this transfer window, as they have been linked to a number of names in recent weeks.
The Merseyside club were initially reported to have identified Leny Yoro as a serious target, but he ultimately opted to join. Manchester UnitedHowever, he now has a broken metatarsal and will be sidelined for an extended period as a result.
After losing Yoro, Liverpool have been linked with numerous other defenders including Gleison Bremer, Goncalo Inacio and Marc Guehi.
Pacho was also the subject of attention from the Merseyside club, but recently it seemed that they had cooled their interest in him. However, according to the report from the IndependentArne Slot's side remain interested in signing the Ecuadorian and could look to secure his signature before the end of this window.

The report further claims that Frankfurt could demand a fee of around £50m for the 22-year-old, so Liverpool will have to shell out a huge amount of money to buy him.
Liverpool is the only one Premier league clubs that have not made any moves so far in this transfer window. However, Independent claims the Reds are now keen to step up their efforts to sign new faces and will submit their first concrete offer this summer within the next 10 days.
Liverpool are looking to sign a new holding midfielder and a new striker, as well as a new centre-back, and are considering signing Martin Zubimendi and Anthony Gordon to strengthen those two positions.
Pacho is a versatile left-footed defender who is comfortable playing both as a centre-back and as a left-back. He is fast, strong, comfortable playing from the back, efficient in his defensive contributions and also reads the game well.
The South American has burst onto the scene after a promising Bundesliga campaign last season and also showed glimpses of his qualities for Ecuador at the Copa America.
