According to Sky Germany, Liverpool view Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Since arriving at the Westfalenstadion from RB Salzburg in 2022, Adeyemi has struggled to find a consistent run of form in a black and yellow shirt.
In his first two seasons for Die Schwarzgelben, the 22-year-old was only able to register 14 goals and eight assists in 66 appearances.
However, this season, Adeyemi looks to have found a new sense of confidence with five goals and five assists in the first eight games for BvB.
This has, therefore, attracted a significant amount of attention towards the German U21 international, with it being reported that Liverpool are monitoring his situation at Dortmund.
Salah’s deal at Anfield is set to expire in the summer, and as of yet, it is unclear as to whether the winger will sign a new deal at the club.
This has led to Liverpool having to scout for the Egyptian’s successor, with Adeyemi being targeted.
Nevertheless, the 22-year-old’s injury record is putting off the Premier League outfit and a number of other European clubs who are interested in luring him away from the Bundesliga.
