Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Lionesses Nikita Parris and Jess Carter are on Football's Black List
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Nikita Parris and Jess Carter have been named in a list of the most influential blacks in British football.
Liverpool and England ace Alexander-Arnold is among five players included in the annual Football Black List, which highlights pioneers working in all areas of the game from the black community.

Also featuring are internationals Carter and Parris from the England Lionesses, as well as Lyle Foster from Burnley and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
Vincent Kompany, one of only two black managers in the top flight of English football, newly appointed Port Vale manager Darren Moore, Birmingham City women's manager Hope Powell and Hull City manager Liam Rosenior, They are also on the list.
Sam Allison and Akil Howson will also be recognized with Cyrille Regis Awards for their achievements in becoming the first black referees in the Premier League since Uriah Rennie in 2008.
The list is decided by a panel of experts with representatives from the Premier League, the Professional Footballers' Association, the League Coaches' Association, the EFL and anti-racism group Kick It Out.
There are eight categories: administration, training and management, commercial, community, players, LGBTQ+, media and professionals. There's also Ugo Ehiogu's Ones To Watch list, which recognizes talented young people in the industry under the age of 30.
Leon Mann, co-founder of Football Black List, said: “On the Premier League pitch, 43% of players are black, according to the Black Footballers Partnership. But there is a consistent lack of diversity in all other areas of football, from the boardroom to the benches.
“Therefore, it is vital that we shine a light on the role models who are leading the way for the next generation to follow in sport to help tackle this issue.”
Co-founder of the initiative, Rodney Hinds, added: “The Football Black List has been endorsed by the black community and that gives a great sense of pride. The growing number of supporters in the industry is significant and also appreciated. Quite rightly, The Football Black List is about those who do great work within the game, so congratulations to all the awardees – you are inspiring future generations.
