Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to delight their fans with a victory against Everton in their first home game of the season at the Premier LeagueHere's how Ange Postecoglou's men could line up:
GOALKEEPER – Guglielmo Vicario conceded a goal to Jamie Vardy against Leicester City but also made a couple of decent saves to deny the Foxes victory. He will keep his place in goal, especially with his direct deputy Fraser Forster injured.
DEFENDERS – Spurs' defence was above average against Leicester and only conceded a goal due to a marking error inside the box. Therefore, Postecoglou will not be able to make any changes in defence.
Pedro Porro, Spurs' top scorer in the last game, will start at right-back and Destiny Udogie will start on the left. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will once again be Tottenham's centre-back pairing.
MIDFIELDERS – Rodrigo Bentancur suffered a head injury against Leicester which looked very serious and therefore could be ruled out at least for the Everton game, if not for a few more games. His absence may persuade Postecoglou to use a 4-3-3 rather than a 4-2-3-1 due to the lack of options available in defensive midfield, barring Pape Matar Sarr.
The Senegalese is set to start as number six, while James Madison will play left midfield. Bentancur's absence could help Swedish prodigy Lucas Bergvall, who makes his debut for Spurs after coming on as a substitute against Leicester City.
ATTACKERS – Tottenham's attacking department faltered last time out, but all eyes will be on the performance of Son Hueng-min and Co. against an Everton side who conceded three goals against Brighton in their opening game.
The South Korean will retain his place on the left flank and captain the team, while the right winger will likely be Brennan Johnson.
Dominic Solanke did everything but score or assist against Leicester and all eyes will be on him to score against the Toffees as he leads the forward line for the first time in front of his new home fans.
