Lucy Parker will be sidelined for a short period of time after suffering an ankle injury during last weekend’s draw with Manchester United.
The defender was withdrawn in the 68th minute of Sunday’s contest and appeared to be in some discomfort.
Having seen a specialist in the last couple of days it has been determined that, while not a serious injury, Parker will be out of action for a few weeks and will be reassessed in due course.
