In recent weeks, the coach of Spain, Luis de la Fuente, has been open about his contract situation. Earlier this year, the Spanish Football Federation opted to automatically renew their deal until after the 2026 World Cup, but this did not come with a pay rise – and this is something that has irked the winning manager of Euro 2024.
