Manchester United have to wait even longer for Luke Shaw to return as he suffered an injury setback.
the left side is still to play United this season, as he suffered a calf injury just days before the start of the campaign.
Shaw spent much of last year on the touchline with various fitness issues and has not featured for the club since February.
United had hoped to see him return to action after the September international break, but that was not to be.
Now, 254 days since Shaw last wore his jersey in a competitive match, there is still no definitive timetable on when he will return to fitness.

Erik ten Hag, who was fired As United manager on Monday, he said after their 2-1 loss to West Ham that the defender faces more time out.
speaking through sky sportsexplained: “The process is not going as we expected, that is the truth.
“The setback, if you want to call it that, but we want to do it very carefully because when it comes down again now we have done the wrong process. So we want to be very careful.”
“We know his past. We have to do this right because we want him to be available because it will have a big impact on our performances and also on our levels.
“We can't allow him to play a few games and then retire again. So we do it very carefully.”
Unfortunately, Shaw has dealt with a number of injury problems since joining United in a £30million deal from Southampton in 2014.
The 29-year-old has injured his hamstring, ankle and foot at the club, with his most notable absence being the 2015/16 season.
He suffered a fracture in both legs in a Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven and was sidelined for six months to recover.
A muscle injury kept Shaw out for the second half of last season after making just 15 starts in all competitions.
Despite this, former England manager Gareth Southgate named him in his squad for Euro 2024 and gave him three appearances.
Shaw even started in the 2-1 loss to Spain in the final in July, the last time he made a competitive appearance for club or country.
Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui filled in at left-back during his absence at club level and look set to continue doing so in the coming weeks.
However, Shaw could be offered a lifeline once he returns to Ruben Amorim, who talkSPORT claims will become the new United manager after leaving Sporting Lisbon.
It is still unclear when he will take over for the first time, with interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy on the touchline for the Carabao Cup clash against Leicester on Wednesday night. live on talkSPORT 2.
