Mallorca manager Jagoba Arrasate has a blessed problem: he has three good goalkeepers to come. Predrag Rajkovic was the starter last season, although he was pushed by supporter Dominik Greif and rising star Leo Roman, who is out on loan at Real Oviedo.
At least one will leave this summer, and right now, the favorite to go is Rajkovic – because he has the highest value. Ace for Brandan agreement of 10 million euros has already been proposed by Al-Ittihad, who have already agreed personal terms with the Serbian “keeper”.
Mallorca wants to sell, but the problem is that Al-Ittihad is under no pressure to press ahead with the signing. Rajkovic is not their priority target – currently, that is Porto's Diogo Costa. If they cannot secure an agreement for him, it is likely that they will fall back to the one with the Balearic side.
The sale of Rajkovic will be a valuable one for Majorca, since it will allow key additions to be made to the Arrasate team for the coming season. In addition to this, the quality between the posts should not drop too much, if at all.
