City's crisis is not only limited to results, but also fighting against injuries.
In addition to Rodri's season-ending ACL injury, Jeremy Doku, Ruben Dias, John Stones, Jack GrealishManuel Akanji and Nathan Ake have problems.
The bottom two should be fit for this game after a break during the break, but doubts remain over the others, with City's treatment room packed to capacity.

Man City vs Tottenham: What has been said?
Martin Keown, three-time Premier League winner has discussed the current shape of the city and related it to his time playing for a dominant Arsenal team.
Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT.com, Keown said: “We're seeing a mini-crisis with Man City. When you never lose games, how do you keep the pessimism out of the dressing room?
“Because when you walk in it's almost like a morgue, but you have to get some kind of reality check.
“They have been magnificent for four seasons, they just need to start winning again, but at the moment they look like they have fallen off the cliff.
“And even for Pep, it's difficult. I don't think (the fans) are enjoying this, I think we're all very interested in seeing how they stop the rot and how they make things better.”
He continued: “It's interesting, because I remember this happening.
“Arsene Wenger was really worried, certainly in (the 02/03 season), that, 'Look, we haven't lost in weeks/months, if we lose a game, how do we pick this up?'
“And so you play with a lot of pride with your record, but when you lose it, you start looking around when things don't go your way.”
- Although they are the only team to have scored in every Premier League match so far this season, Manchester City have lost their last two (1-2 against Bournemouth and Brighton). They last lost three in a row in the competition in February/March 2016, a run that included a home defeat to Tottenham.
- Tottenham have won just two of their last 11 away games in the Premier League (D2 L7), winning just one in five away from home this season. Since the start of this stage in March, no team has lost more away games in the Premier League than Spurs (7).
