Today's Manchester Derby will take place at a strange time – the match will start at 3.30pm this afternoon.

It's not the first time this has happened in this game, or even the first time this season.

Man United were thrashed 3-0 earlier this season in October at Old Trafford in Sunday's kick-off, which was brought forward to 3:30.

At the time a statement was issued saying: “The derby against Manchester City will be played at the end of the month, while the match at Old Trafford will be moved to October 29, starting at 3.30pm.

“The match, which we won 2-1 last season with Marcus Rashford scoring a memorable goal, will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.

“The unusual start time was agreed following consultations between the clubs, the broadcaster and local authorities.”

This is probably why it was changed again.

Kevin De Bruyne is in line to start his first Premier League game in three after suffering minor hamstring discomfort and registering four assists in a devastating FA Cup win over Luton Town in midweek.

Jack Grealish suffered a new injury during that match and will miss out, while Josko Gvardiol is still out with a slight ankle problem.

Ten Hag revealed that Harry Maguire is expected to miss the derby, but both Bruno Fernandes and Raphael Varane will be available.

United are still struggling with several key absences, headlined by star striker Rasmus Hojlund due to a muscle problem.

Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martínez, Mason Mount, Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka remain in the treatment room.

Hello and welcome to talkSPORT's live blog on the Manchester derby!

Manchester United will be out for revenge as they make the short trip to the Etihad to take on neighbors Man City.

United were humiliated 3-0 at Old Trafford when the two local rivals met in October and their season has gone from bad to worse since.

The Red Devils saw their run of four consecutive Premier League wins come to an end following a dramatic late 2-1 defeat to Fulham at the weekend.

Erik ten Hag's side bounced back to beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the FA Cup in midweek, but now all attention is on the derby.

United remain sixth, eight points off the top four, and another defeat could prove catastrophic for their Champions League hopes.

City also face a crucial week in defending their Premier League crowns, having started by thrashing Luton Town 6-2 in the fifth round on Tuesday.

The Manchester derby then comes at a crucial time in the campaign, with Pep Guardiola's men embroiled in a three-horse race for the title, one ahead of Arsenal in third but behind leaders Liverpool by the same margin.
