Manchester United's clash with Bournemouth saw Ruben Amorim's side achieve an unwanted record.
It took Dean Huijsen just 29 minutes to give the Cherries the lead after heading in a free kick in front of the Stretford End.
As well as seeing Man United lose 1-0, the goal had additional meaning.
Huijsen's header was the 17th goal Man United have conceded from set pieces in the Premier League in 2024.
This is the most goals the Red Devils have conceded in a single calendar year since the Premier League began 32 years ago.
Man United pushed to get back into the game during the second half of the match, but their task was made even more difficult when Noussair Mazraoui conceded a penalty for a foul on Justin Kluivert.
Kluivert then stepped up to make it 2-0 in favor of the Cherries.
Then things got even worse when Antoine Semenyo scored the third goal for Bournemouth.
Reacting to the performance, Micky Gray told talkSPORT: “Manchester United's defense was terrible today.
“I'm looking for an improvement with Ruben Amorim in the last two games. I haven't seen it yet.
“They've all been really poor. I can't pick one Manchester United player who really impressed me today. They've been really fighting in possession, and that's everything Bournemouth deserve.
“I think Ruben Amorim has a big job on his hands here, not only in January, but next summer, bringing in and out players.”
Only Southampton (5) have conceded three or more goals in a Premier League home game more times than Manchester United (4) this season.
The match was watched by Marcus Rashford, who was present at Old Trafford.
This despite being left out of the matchday squad for the third consecutive game.
Man United's defeat will leave Amorim's team reaching Christmas Day in 13th position in the table.
