manchester united and Liverpool They are reportedly interested in signing Fulham star Antonee Robinson, according to transfer expert mike brown.
Left back has been a problem area for the Red Devils of late due to injury problems for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. United were without a specialist left-back for most of last season and neither has played a single minute so far this season.
It was thought that Man Utd would try to sign a new left defender last summer but ultimately opted against doing so before the deadline. Now, it appears they are exploring options to finally sign a new left-back next year.
speaking in Soccer insider informationFormer Manchester United scout Brown says record first division The champions are interested in Robinson and have been keeping a close eye on him before making a potential move.
Fulham do not want to lose the 27-year-old mid-season so a January move is unlikely, but the Old Trafford club could sign him at the end of this season.

However, the transfer expert claims Liverpool are also interested in buying him, so the record Premier League champions will have to overcome stiff competition from their arch-rivals to complete any potential deal for him.
brown said:
“He (Robinson) is one of the main candidates for any team looking to sign a left-back. Among them I would count Man United and Liverpool. I'm not sure if they will make a move or not, but they are among the clubs following him. From what I've heard, Fulham won't let him leave in January anyway, so if it happens it won't be until the end of the season.”
Robinson: valued at around £21 million per Transfer market – has a contract until 2028 with Fulham and considering that he is a key player in Marco Silva's starting eleven, it is likely that they will demand a considerable amount of money to let him leave the club.
Liverpool are apparently looking to sign a new left-back to replace Andrew Robertson, who has turned 30 and is approaching the autumn of his career.
Robinson is a proven Premier League player so should be able to hit the ground running if he joins Liverpool or Man Utd at the end of this season.
