Man Utd seeks deal for Alvarez appreciated by ten Hag

The former Ajax player completed 86% of his passes in the Premier League with almost 3 tackles and 5 recoveries per start. He was also good at clearing his lines and impressed with his pressing. He would fit perfectly into ten Hag's tactical plans, considering they were together at Ajax.

Álvarez won a couple of league titles under the Dutchman and would no doubt want to reunite with him. The big question is whether United can convince West Ham to make a sale. Alvarez was signed for around £35million last summer and it won't be easy to unseat him.

The Hammers could demand £60 million or even more for the former Club América midfielder, who remains indispensable in their eleven. Such a large outlay may not be affordable for United, who rely on player sales to secure the majority of their signings this summer.
