United have struggled at left back of late, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both out injured for a long time. It was thought that they would look to strengthen this area in the summer, but ultimately opted against it.

Chilwell is a first division Proven player but who has had injury problems in recent times. Therefore, it would be a big bet if United decided to attack him to strengthen the defense.
