Johnny Evans He was often designated as the man to watch over Haaland and showed courage by using the frame as a barrier. 5

Victor Lindelof Deployed at left-back, he was often concerned about Walker's speed and should have closed down Foden ahead of the former. 4

casemiro Stones' perfect tackle in the box impressed, but he was unable to manage any control in midfield. 4

Kobbie Mainoo Spied in defense, midfield and attack but the young man's first derby passed him by. 4

Alejandro Garnacho He made a switch to help at the back but failed to pierce the home barrier as he ran in. 5

Mark Rashford He needed a big performance and a 20-yard rocket that hit the crossbar was a great start, but he wasted more chances. 7

Bruno Fernandez He fluttered from the false number 9 position. He created the muscular Rashford opener to contain Dias. 7
