Roy Keane has offered some amazing moments, particularly against Arsenal, so few would have anticipated this.

“Manchester United fans will go crazy,” he joked, saying the reason for Keane's wardrobe change is probably for promotional purposes or something to do with the work he does with Wright on ITV or on the Overlap podcast with Jamie Carragher. Keane responded to the Frenchman by shouting “we'll see” at Vieira, before the Irishman was stopped by match referee Graham Poll, who attempted to calm him down.

However, with his playing days firmly behind him, it appears Keane could be softening his stance towards the Gunners, something possibly sparked by his blossoming friendship with Wright.

Keane, considered one of the best midfielders of his time, rejected opportunities to play abroad during his brilliant career, something he regrets.

“I definitely should have gone abroad. I had opportunities to play abroad,” he told the Stick to Football podcast.

“I should have been brave enough to go and play in Italy, Germany or Spain, and I had the opportunity.”

“You know, I always had a soft spot for Juventus,” Keane added. “And they offered me a deal, but I remember the deal wasn't, sort of… At the time, thinking it wasn't surprising, I was looking for an incredible deal.

“The club that offered me the most incredible deal was Bayern Munich.

“And then when I left United I went to Celtic and I could have gone to the real Madrid for a year and a half.”
