Manchester United have 'won their poker game' against Paris Saint-Germain with the signing of youngster Javier Mascherano
Manchester United's new midfielder Manuel Ugarte is youngster Javier Mascherano, according to talkSPORT's Tim Vickery.
The Uruguayan defensive midfielder will join Man United after the Red Devils agreed a fee of £42.29 million with Paris Saint-Germainwith the potential for a further £8.46m in additional payments.

Asked if he thinks Ugarte will be a good signing for Manchester United, Vickery said: “Yes, I do. Especially after watching United (against Fulham).
“They were so open again to the Fulham counterattack, they were lucky not to concede a counterattack to Fulham. That is the hole they are expected to plug.
“A defensive midfielder who protects the midfield and also creates plays with precise passes.”
“It reminds me a lot of Javier Mascherano”Vickery continued, mentioning the former Liverpool and the West Ham star.
“I think this is a good option.
“This whole transfer window has been a game of poker between United and Paris Saint-Germain.
“But it seems that everything points to Ugarte going to United and trying to fill that gap.”
Mascherano, now retired and coach of the Argentina under-20 team, is considered one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation.
He won the Champions League twice, two La Liga titles with Barcelona and two Olympic gold medals with Argentina.
He also made his name in the Premier League with West Ham from 2006 to 2007 and then with Liverpool between 2007 and 2010.
Ugarte, 23, has played 37 games for PSG.
He won the Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de France and the Trophée des Champions with the French giants after signing for Sporting Lisbon last summer
Ugarte signed for 51.4 million pounds and PSG beat him Chelsea To your signature.
