Manchester United are leading the race to sign Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, according to Sky Italia, as broadcast by Italy football.

United are looking to bolster their midfield this summer and have been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain star Manu Ugarte for several weeks. The French club appear reluctant to lower their asking price, prompting the Red Devils to look elsewhere.
